Haddon Twp. Senior Group
The Haddon Twp. Senior Group holds meetings and a luncheon on the 2nd Wednesday of the month at 11:45 am at St. Teresa of Calcutta/Holy Saviour’s McDade Hall. Parking is available in the church parking lot located on Emerald Ave. Hot Lunch Members cost is $3.00 and Non-members is $4.00. The group meets in September through June. A celebration worth tapping into–Oktoberfest on the Square! Join Keg & Kitchen and Brauhaus Schmitz on Saturday, 9/23 for a fun filled German festival featuring specialty beers, live music and authentic German fare! Whiskey & War Stories at Treno Pizza Bar!
Treno Pizza Bar will host an unforgettable three-course meal and Horse Soldier Whiskey tasting on Thursday, September 28 at 6:30 p.m., hosted by Stephen Kofron, a Retired US Army NCO and “Horse Solider”.
Located at 233 Haddon Avenue in Haddon Township, ‘Whiskey & War Stories’ will feature combat stories straight from the battlefield, shared by the legendary Steve Kofron himself. The evening will begin with a complimentary cocktail before guests immerse themselves in the heroic tales. Over the course of the event, guests will be served a meticulously crafted three-course dinner and whiskey pairing.
Horse Soldier® Bourbon Whiskey is handcrafted by the U.S. Army Green Berets who answered America’s call days after 9/11 with a daring insertion, on horseback, into northern Afghanistan. This brave and unconventional act earned them the moniker of “Horse Soldiers.”

Building the Foundation: HTEF Fundraiser on the Square
HTEF is excited to be back at the Square on Friday, September 29th from 4 pm – 10 pm for our annual fundraising event. Join us for drinks, food, live music, raffle baskets, and 50/50! Funds raised support grants to HT teachers and staff that support learning in our schools.

Town-wide Halloween Decorating Contest
The Halloween House or Business Decorating Contest sponsored by the Westmont Lions Club. Judging will be taking place October 21-29, 2023. We’ll be posting a list of addresses, so everyone can drive by to see and enjoy them, and vote on their favorites. Winners will be announced at the Halloween Parade. The Registration Form (link below) is due October 15, 2023. Gift cards (and bragging rights) are up for grabs!

The Haddon Twp. Music Festival is a perfect event for music aficionados who prefer to “experience” live music and interact with artists from all over the Delaware Valley. 2 Stages, Food Trucks, Local Artisans, a Ferris Wheel and Games & Amusements. The event is free and pay as you go.
Outdoor Spooky Movie Night
Friday, October 27th at 6 pm on Haddon Square!
Bring the whole family Friday evening the 27th and kick-off the Halloween weekend with “Monsters, Inc” on the Big Screen! Haddon Square is conveniently located at 51 Haddon Ave. in the heart of Haddon Twp.’s downtown. Hot cocoa and popcorn will be available. Remember to bring your own blanket! Limited chairs and fire pits available. The event is pet-friendly and free!

Westmont Lions 75th Annual Halloween Parade!
The 75th Annual Westmont Lions Halloween Parade is happening at 7:30 pm on Monday, October 30, 2023. Stake out a spot along the parade route on Haddon Avenue – viewing between Planet Fitness (near Albertson Ave) to Maple Avenue – for what will be a spectacular sight. Our DJ and viewing stand will be located at the Jackson Funeral Home parking lot. Some pre-parade entertainment will take place at Haddon Square.
Since this is a big anniversary for the parade we are encouraging all residents and businesses to take part and enter a float, and/or participate in the costume contests, etc. If you would to be a participant in the parade, please see the Registration Information below. Pre-registered participants can begin lining up at 6:30 pm. (Haddon Avenue closes at 6:45 pm so please plan accordingly)

Trick or Treating
All the ghouls and ghosts will be out between the hours of 3 pm and 7 pm. Please be advised that there is a 10 pm curfew for all juveniles (under the age of 17) for October 30th and October 31st.
