The Crystal Lake Pool at the Richard C. Hardenbergh Recreation Center offers numerous amenities for pool members and daily visitors alike.  The facility features a 25 meter pool, a wading pool specially designed for young children, a splash pool, playground area, picnic tables, expansive lawns, a clubhouse with lockers and showers, and a patio with food service.

Summer Season Hours

Beginning Saturday, June 22nd, 2013 through Monday, September 2nd, 2013 (Labor Day):

Weekdays: 12:00pm to 8:00pm

Weekends: 10:00 am to 8:00 pm

Labor Day: Noon to 6:00 pm

*Pool opens weekends Saturday May 25th to Sunday June 16th from 12pm to 6pm

Seahawks Practice – 8:30 am to 11:00 am
Senior Swim – 11:00 am to 12:00 noon
Lap Lane for Adults – daily at most times
Adult Swim – 2:00 pm & 4:00 pm
Toddler Wading Pool – open daily during pool hours
Aquacise class – times vary, please check bulletin board at pool

Membership Information

Pool Membership Application Forms are located in the Tax Office at the Municipal Building and through a link under Additional Resources on the bottom of this page. Membership rates, along with additional information on the registration process, are listed on the form. Pool Memberships go on sale starting May 14th in the Tax Office.

To receive your pool tags, please complete the application and bring it with your cash or check (made payable to the Township of Haddon) to the Tax Office at the Municipal Building. To receive the Haddon Township resident rate, you must be able to present proof of residency for each individual upon request. If applying for a family membership either as residents or non-residents, proof of dependency for each child is required. A list of items accepted as proof can be found on the application form. Haddon Township does not keep residency or dependency information from previous years.

Pool Tags go on Sale—Monday, May 13th!

The Tax Office will have extended hours on  Thursday, May 16th & Monday, May 20th from 4:30 pm to 7:30 pm to accomodate residents looking to purchase pool memberships.  The Tax Office is located on the 1st floor of the Municipal Building, located at 135 Haddon Ave.

All membership holders can purchase day passes for out of town guests at a discounted rate of $10.00 in the Tax Office only.

Residents (must show proof of residency at the gate)  — $5.00 per day

Out of Town guests — $20.00 per day

Learn to Swim

The Learn to Swim Program is designed for children 6 years of age and older. Children are split into groups according to both age and skill level. The program is held from 10:00 am to 11:00 am beginning Friday, June 21st and ending on Wednesday, July 3rd. Questions can be directed to the Tax Office at (856) 854-1176 ext. 4114, 4118, or 4120.

Private Swim Lessons

Private Swim lessons are available through certified lifeguards at the pool at $15 per half hour. To sign up for lessons, please consult the Pool Manager in order to find a lifeguard who can meet your schedule. Once a schedule has been made with a specific lifeguard, please fill out the Private Swim Lesson Registration Form, and submit a payment of $15 per each half hour lesson to the Tax Office.
