The Haddon Township Business Improvement District (HTBID) is dedicated to one important goal: promoting a more positive and prosperous climate in which to conduct business in our community. We pride ourselves on being the preferred source of information for new and existing businesses, and a leading force in improving and revitalizing our town infrastructure to the benefit of owners and residents alike.

By Ordinance of the Township Board of Commissioners, the HTBID Advisory Board is comprised of appointed members from two distinct districts – Westmont/Downtown and the White Horse Pike  Arts and Business District.

Managing Director

 Haddon Township Business Improvement District

The Managing Director is a part-time salaried employee of Haddon Township Business Improvement District, a non-profit organization dedicated to the competitive marketing and management of the Business Improvement District of the Township of Haddon, New Jersey. The role of the Managing Director is to coordinate the resources of BID to promote and expand the interests of businesses and the community of Haddon Township.
The Managing Director reports directly to and is accountable to the Chairman of the BID Advisory Board & the Haddon Township Municipal Liaison.
The Managing Director is a unique opportunity for an individual who has the communication and organizational skills to excel in the high profile Business Improvement District of Haddon Township. The Managing Director will handle the following responsibilities:
• Organization and documentation of tasks.
• Events planning and coordination.
• Marketing development and Public Relations.
• Information gathering and coordination of services.
• Carrying out the priorities of the board.
• Long range planning.
• Coordinate with the Liaison on Township services.
• Develop inter business and business to business communications.
• Having a presence at all formal events and meetings of the BID.
• Other responsibilities that move forward the mission and goals of BID.
The Managing Director will help drive the priorities of the BID and will serve to demonstrate to the business community and the township the advantages of the cooperative management of business resources. Independent thinking, willingness to roll up your sleeves, and attention to detail are all qualities that will define the successful candidate.
In addition, BID will highly regard candidates with the following skills: The salary being offered for this position is $25,000 (Health benefits not included). Weekly hourly commitment is 20- 25 hours and will be an employee of the Township of Haddon and be required to follow the policies and procedures of the Township of Haddon Employee Handbook.
• Excellent communication skills, including PR experience.
• Vast social media and Microsoft Office knowledge.
• Strong customer service and verbal and written skills.
• Management and organizational skills.
• Knowledge of business operations and development.
• Basic bookkeeping skills.

Inspira Now Open!

Urgent Care, Family Medicine and Imaging Center Now Open in Haddon Township

Inspira Health Network’s newest facility, now open in Haddon Township, offers community members urgent care, family medicine, and medical imaging services.

The 7,400 square foot center, conveniently located on West Cuthbert Boulevard in the Acme shopping center, features a warm and welcoming design, 10 patient rooms, and the latest imaging technology.

“The opening of our new location in Haddon Township marks and exciting time for our network,” said John DiAngelo, president and CEO of Inspira Health Network. “While we have been providing care to families in South Jersey for generations, we are pleased to now offer exceptional medical care to Haddon Township residents and the surrounding communities in Camden County.”

The Urgent Care offers walk-in treatment, 7 days a week from 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. All patients are treated by a doctor and prescriptions are available onsite in many cases. Online check-in is available through the Inspira Access app and starting on January 16, patients will be able to get text alerts so they can wait in line from the comfort of their own home.

Stephanie Flaherty, D.O. and Sue Yang-Novellino, D.O. have joined Inspira Medical Group and will provide comprehensive primary care to all ages at the Family Medicine practice. Dr. Flaherty joins the practice after recently completing her residency in family medicine at Inspira Health Network in Vineland. Dr. Yang-Novellino of Collingswood Osteopathic Medicine brings dual board certification in family medicine and neuromusculoskeletal medicine and osteopathic manipulative treatment.

The new Imaging Center will have full medical imaging services, including 3D mammography, wide-bore MRI, walk-in x-ray, and more. X-Ray services will also be available if needed during an Urgent Care visit.
