8th Annual Pasta Dinner to benefit the Paul F. Gilligan III Scholarship Fund
Join us on Wednesday, April 2, 2014 for the eighth annual Pasta Dinner to Benefit the Paul F. Gilligan III Scholarship Fund in the Haddon Township High School Cafeteria. Dinner will be provided by Carrabba’s Italian Grill of Maple Shade. Your choice of desserts and beverages will follow. The raffle will feature over 35 wonderful, valuable gift baskets thanks to generous community and business donations. Dinner tickets are available for a $25.00 donation. The dinner is from 6:30 to 8:30 P.M. The gift baskets will be on display starting at 4:00 P.M. giving you the opportunity to participate in the raffle without staying for dinner.
The Fund was formed to support educational purposes by commemorating the life of Paul F. Gilligan III and awarding scholarships and fellowships at Haddon Township High School and at Harvard University, Paul’s two alma maters. These awards are given by Committees at HaddonTownship and at Harvard to students who embody the qualities possessed by Paul: academic achievement combined with a love for participation in physical activity and athletic competition, along with strength of character exemplified by a sense of good sportsmanship. Paul will be honored this month at the Haddon Township High School Athletic Hall of Fame Induction Ceremony and banquet.
At Haddon Township High School’s graduation in June 2013, the Fund awarded two $2000.00 per-year four year scholarships to graduating seniors Patrick Burns, now attending Penn State University, and Cassidy Leyendecker, now attending the University of Notre Dame. For more information and/or to purchase tickets, please contact Paul or Jacqui at firstname.lastname@example.org or 856-854-6503 and visit our website www.paulgilliganscholarship.com.
